I just have removed all the restrictions from this page. Thanks for letting us know about this matter and share your experience here.
Trend Micro has disappeared from my computer and I tried to find my account yesterday and used my password. I opened my account and it showed my account was good to 2040 and gave me the serial # but it still is not on my computer. I need protection.
Sometimes the Trend micro icon doesn’t show in system tray, it doesn’t mean that it is not working. All the anti-viruses work in the background. To make sure that, you may check the “TMBMSRV.exe” process is still running in the task manager or not. If you do not find it in your task manager, it means it is not working.
In other way, make sure you did not install any other anti-malware, anti-virus, anti-spyware software on your computer because they can conflict with Trend micro.
Solution:
We suggest you to please reboot your computer once. If it doesn’t start the Trend micro after reboot, then start it manually and update its virus definition and do a full scan of your computer and then reboot your computer once again. If this did help you, so please try to update your windows.
