Hello. And Bye.
Automatic Fixit also works prefectly to solve the same issue on Windows Vista! Thanks a lot.
Sorry, but it didn’t work, my friend!! I thought this was supposed to have something to do with Windows Vista; NOT Windows XP!! At least that’s what the thumbnail in Google said, before I clicked on it! My God; XP is so old, anyway!!
all the options above didn’t work for me on XP pro
I’m taking this error: [ C:\WINDOWS\system32; Netsh firewall reset
Unable to load the following utility file DLL: DGNET.DLL.
the requested transfer is not available. ]
Finally, I solved my shelf. Was a “windows services” problem.
1) Start > Run > type: services.msc
2) find the windows service “Remote Procedure Call (RPC)” and start it if it is stopped.
3) find the windows service “Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)” and start it, if it is stopped.
4) find the windows service “workstation” and start it, if it is stopped.
5) find the windows service “Network connections”(“network connections” or something) and start it, if it is stopped.
I’m not sure about which service must be started first, but I’m SURE that all these services must be started to have a working firewall.
ps to admin: This “copy-paste protection” is completely annoying!
Thank you for sharing this useful information with us, it will help others to solve this problem.
Copy-paste protection is for content thefts only, not for users. We have given all the commands in the command line where you can easily copy them by clicking on “plus” / “file” icon which is in front of the all commands. Anyway, we’ll research another method to protect from thefts.
Again Thanks for this useful information.
