I have done everything I could to clear this virus out of my computer with no success. It keeps interupting my computer session with ads to buy McAfee. Is there any way I* can clear this out?

After that, you’ll have to remove the desktop notification from Edge and Chrome browsers, because Mcafee popups usually hijack the browser notification area. I am going to share those steps as well.
Here are the tools
Download Adwcleaner. and run its scan once.
Download Zemana and run its scan.
Download HitmanPro and run its scanSteps to remove desktop notifications from the Edge browser:
It looks like the pop ups are coming through MS Edge’s “Browser Notification”. We suggest you please disable all unwanted / unknown website’s “Browser Notifications” from the MS Edge browser. Your issue will be fixed right away. Check out the following steps to do the same:
- Open Edge browser.
- Click the 3 dots (…) and click on “Settings” from the top-right corner of the Edge browser.
- Click on “Cookies and Site Permissions” from the left side pane.
- Now scroll down and click on “Notifications” from the right side pane.
- Under “Notifications” look for the “allow” section.
- Under “allow“, remove the website that keeps giving you those popups (notifications).
- To remove the website from there, you need to click on its 3 dots (…) and then click on remove.
That’s it.
