Follow these steps to re-activate your PC’s sound again:

    1. Check your speakers or headphones. Make sure that they are properly connected to your computer and that they are turned on. If your headphones or speakers are battery-powered, make sure the batteries are charged.

    2. Check the volume: Make sure the volume is turned up and not muted on your computer. Click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and move the slider up to check the volume.

    3.  Re-activate audio from device manger: Search “Device Manager” in the Start menu. Select Device Manager from the search results. Click the arrow next to “Sound, video, and game controllers” in Device Manager to expand the category. “Disable device” may appear if the audio device is enabled. Close Device Manager and test your audio after enabling it.

    4. Update your audio drivers: If none of the steps above work, you may need to update your audio drivers. Go to the Device Manager and find your audio device to do this. Select Update driver when you right-click on it. You can also go to the manufacturer’s website to get the latest drivers and install them.

    5. Restart your computer: Some sound problems can be fixed by just restarting your computer. Just make sure that you restart your computer instead of shutdown.

If none of these steps work, you may need to call a computer technician or the support team for the company that made your computer.
